Tre’vell Anderson

Junior
Sociology Pre-Law/Leadership Studies

On campus, this Charleston, SC native serves as the Chief Compliance and Operations Officer for the Bonner Scholars Program as well as the 2011-2012 Campus News Editor for the college’s student newspaper, The Maroon Tiger. Anderson also serves in many other capacities as a campus student leader, namely as a Resident Advisor under the Office of Housing and Residential Life, member of the college’s Respect and Diversity Committee, Team Lead for the Morehouse Engaged Diversity Fellows, and an Under Secretary-General for the Southeastern United States Model United Nations Conference sponsored by the International Model United Nations Association. After graduating from Morehouse, he hopes to enroll in Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism dual degree program to earn his Masters in Journalism and Juris Doctorate. Anderson is excited to be a Critical Thinking Leader as he has already devoted his college career to broadening the intellectual horizons of his college community as well as engaging others in difficult dialogues, whether they are about sex, sexualities, gender, or masculinities. He believes that this program has the opportunity to not only get people to think about their actions and themselves, but effect positive change in people’s attitudes and perceptions of others.
